Course 1: Building Blocks: Set the Foundation for Healthier Futures with Quality Pediatric Care (2.5 Clin/Gen AAMA CEUs)
From preventive medicine to treatment for illness, disease, and injuries, young people must have regular access to comprehensive health care resources to thrive. Learn about the health of children and adolescents through the lens of nutrition, physical activity, and media and technology. Discover how pediatricians can influence patients and families to adopt or improve healthy behaviors for better futures.

Course 2: The Narrowing Gender Gap: Prevalence, Trends, and Preventing Alcohol-Related Harms in Women (1 Clin/Gen AAMA CEU)
From 2000 to 2016, the percentage of men who reported any drinking stayed mainly the same; however, for women, it increased by 6%, and binge drinking for women increased by 14%, marking a narrowing gender gap in alcohol consumption. Learn about the physical and mental health risks of alcohol consumption for women. Discuss the negative effects of alcohol on pregnancy. Discover positive trends in mindful drinking and alcohol abstinence that have emerged in recent years.
