Course Description

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental condition that affects both children and adults and can significantly impact academic performance, work productivity, relationships, and overall quality of life. This course examines current evidence related to the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD, including the differences among hyperactive-impulsive, inattentive, and combined presentations. Learners will explore diagnostic considerations, common comorbid conditions, treatment options, and emerging therapies that support individualized care.
